Webster-Jackson trail was well snowshoed by the time we started. My friend Emily and I along with another (Tyler) broke from Jackson to Pierce through a decent amount of snow and drifting. There were tracks heading towards Eisenhower, Tyler continued on while we called it a short day and headed back down a well traveled Crawford Path out.
Summits were socked in and a little windy. Lots of people on the trails, most in snowshoes and a few groups bare booting on CP. I would think there were enough snowshoers to clean up the divots. Snowshoes are very much recommended.
It's nice to have some snow finally. |
