 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The small lot outside the gate is plowed and can handle about 8-10 cars, but the back of it has about six inches of water. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Slush |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
|
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Few blowdowns and lots of small limbs down from the storm. One very large tree must have come down this morning since it covered over some seemingly fresh tracks (and you could smell the fresh wood). |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Snow was a bit deep for Lauren but she managed. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Believe it or not, I saw some kind of flying bug that resembled a mosquito. |
|
 | Lost and Found: |
Found a microspike, but then found the owner about five minutes later… |

 | Comments: |
Echo Lake, Bryce Path, White Horse Ledge, bushwhack, white blaze
There really needs to be an option under surface conditions for wet cement.
There’s 2.5-3 feet of nice snow on top and the trail is broken out the whole way around the loop.
