Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Copious amounts of branches down. That plus all the snow-loaded trees bent over the trail made the corridor tricky to follow at times. Luckily my pace with a 5-year old allowed me ample time to pick up most of it and knock the snow off the leaners. No major blowdowns, amazingly.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Fin had a good time struggling through the deep pow today!

Comments
Comments: We got 12-15 inches on three mile road which increased as we went up the mountain. Up to 2 feet in spots. Snow is incredibly wet and heavy, which trashed the trails a bit, but boy is it nice to see all this white stuff. We broke trail for everything except the bottom half of Nat-a family of four had barebooted it all to hell so we smoothed it out and bailed on the connector trail to the AT halfway up to escape their post holes and avoid the extremely wet/muddy section of trail (still sections of open mud/water in spots due to the warmer temps). Left the trails in much better shape than we found them this morning. Forgot how tough breaking trail is:)
