Water Crossing Notes: Water crossings were not bad, using light traction (Hillsounds for me) made the crossings much more confident as there is some minor ice on the rocks, some rocks bare.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in good shape, couple old step-over trees, no big deal.

Dog-Related Notes: saw some tracks, didn't see any doggos today
Bugs
Bugs: saw one on the slide but I think it was hibernating ;)
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Point of this post: I dropped a clear orange Black Diamond pick cover for my ice axe at (probably) Liberty Springs tent side intersection as I was putting gear away.

Comments
Comments: Flume Slide Trl, Bushwhack up west facing slide, ridge trail, down Liberty Springs Trl

Decided to take a whack at the west facing slide, the main, visible slide on Mt Flume. Ascended the slide and hit the ridge at 11:24am. Ice down low on the open ledges and the final couple hundred foot ascent was all loose rocks and boulders (similar to the top of North Tripyramid). Wanted to attempt this slide before the dumping of snow came in and would have to wait out avalanche conditions, perfect and great climbing.

Like I said in the Lost & Found section - the point of writing this trail report is in case anyone came across my Black Diamond ice axe pick cover, its clear orange and on a stretchy black cord, I'd like to try to get it back if anyone came across it! If you have it in your hand as you are reading my report, just shoot me an email! Thanks!

The ridge trail is great fun up to Liberty, rocks are getting packed down and covered nicely. 8-10" of loose stuff to romp in, on parts of the trail from Flume to Liberty. Even Liberty Springs Trail is getting covered and packed nicely, I think most people ascending barebooted most of the way up, I switched back to Hillsounds from the tent site to around 2400' or so. Leaves and snow down low were a nightmare on the spikes so barebooted back to the car.
