Comments
Comments: This was mainly a trip to revisit Precipice Path, which I hadn't hiked in several years. Anna and Straightback were short side trips.

Not much snow in this area, just an inch or two, plus a lot of bare ground. There were a few icy bits but nothing significant. The rockslide/waterfall on Precipice West took a little care in spots as it's starting to freeze over. The steep descent on Precipice East was slippery due to snow and leaves. I carried spikes but they would have been more of a hindrance.

A beautiful and quiet day in the Belknaps today; only one other hiker seen. There was a good breeze on the ridges but most of this hike was on the south side of the range and fairly sheltered from the wind.
