Comments
Comments: Inch or so of fresh power throughout covering patches of ice. Rocks are still around in abundance on Liberty Spring, Franconia Ridge is more ice. Wore beater kahtoola spikes from the bushwhack out and back. A couple of gnarly icy spots climbing to the summit of Liberty and on the first steep drop down the col to Flume, could have used some sharp spikes here, but it’s passible with some care. Besides the strong winds on the summits it was a nice day.
