Comments
Comments: Followed the dirt mine road to its end after a T-junction where we took a right. Bushwhacked towards the bump just opposite Signal, turning onto the ridge where we thought there would be the least elevation lost between the two bumps. Crossed an area that was frozen but in the summer would be a marshy mess. Followed a skidder road a short ways then bushwhacked up through lots of blowdowns towards the summit. Soon came to an old logging road leading up hill and joining the logging road that was coming over from the other bump: Oops! Joined this skidder road heading towards the cleared summit. Saw the jar from pretty far off as the sun was hitting it! Awesome views from up there! Signed in then headed back down, taking a slightly more direct route towards the Mine Road. Turned out to be a lot less scrappy then the route up and made very good time! Popped out about halfway between the road's end and the T-Junction. Took the Mine Road back to the car.
