| Water Crossing Notes: |
Water crossing on lower Flume Slide were problematic because of the thin layer of ice on the rocks just above the water line. I mostly used the rocks that were just a little under water. |

No major problems. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
There is no good reason to bring a dog up Flume Slide under these conditions. |

| Comments: |
All of the ledges and slabs on Flume Slide were frozen waterfalls, smooth and solid. It was a full body exercise navigating the ice. I covered at least half of it by bushwhacking along side the trail [causes long-term environmental damage]. Micro spikes were NOT sufficient. |
