Beautiful hike but certainly not a bluebird day. Conditions were wet as it was sprinkling at lower elevations and snowing at higher elevations. The trail was a stream for much of Clark trail. Got past the fire cabin and had to turn around due to black ice on the steep rock dome near the top. Spikes would be no help. No traction needed elsewhere on the trails as there was no ice and only a thin coating of snow on Clark. |
