Parking/Access Road Notes: Very few cars in the parking lot at 7.30a

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Ice - Black, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The water levels were high so water crossings were difficult in a few places. Had to use fallen trees as bridges several times, particularly on after the south slide.

Trail Maintenance Notes: There were a few blows downs in the trails, but nothing that wasn’t easily avoidable.

Comments
Comments: Micro spikes were needed at about 3,200 ft elevation and above. There weren’t many people out on the trail today. I think we saw 10 people total.

The south slide was mostly dry and snow free in the exposed areas, but the loose gravel and scree proved to be really hard to descend.
