Bare boots for the first 2 miles. Trail was mostly dry with small patches of ice and mud. Once you start to gain elevation it gets very icy all the way up to North. I wished we had our K-10s with us because those would have been the best choice. We all had micro spikes which got the job done. Hard crust snow and ice between north and middle. Little over 6 hrs, only saw 7 others on the trail today. Great day to stay out of the wind. |
