| Comments: |
Trail had light ice mixed with the gravel to around the Dodge Cut-off. Higher up, ice became more of a predominant fixture. Around and above the ladder, large ice falls covered many of the rocks making the trail a bit treacherous. But only a bit. It was all easily accessible with microspikes. Where the trail leveled out near the Ridge Trail, there was a significant amount of standing water, covering a good tenth of a mile. There was little snow anywhere. The stairs up the tower were very precarious and with the wind, not worth climbing (humble opinion). I was told the snack bar near the summit was open though I didn't go. |
