| Comments: |
Barebooted to second stream crossing where I decided it was safer to use spikes on the ice coated rocks. Most of the ice had dried off by the time I got back down. There was just enough ice/snow for me to justify wearing spikes all day except for the first and last mile or so. Light breeze and sunny with mild temps on South Kinsman summit - gorgeous day!! Franconia Ridge was in and out of the clouds all morning. |
