Comments
Comments: A strangely warm day for the end of November. Didn't see anyone until Willey (went Tom -> Field -> Willey). Spiked it from the get-go, although they took a beating at points when there wasn't a good way to stay on the trail without going over some exposed rocks. Snow cover was pretty good higher up though. Everything is pretty packed down, so no need for snowshoes when I was up there. Some small section of trail were 99% ice and 1% snow, though, so the rain later in the day could add to that and make things interesting. Enjoyed a nice summit sit in the warm sun at the Willey outlook (had to fight off 2 gray jays), though the warmth made things a bit softer on the way down. Also met a fellow gridiot who I saw on Cabot yesterday :)
