Stunning views from this ledge beneath Plymouth Mtn. Donned spikes at the Sunderland junction on ascent and wore them up and back to the car. All but one of 5-6 parties we passed were barebooting, and one guy carried snowshoes and I think wore spikes. Only an inch or two of snow at the top although we did not go on to Plymouth itself.
I love this trail - lot of bang for the buck and closer to Boston on days when morning commitments at home necessitate a late start. |
