 | Dog-Related Notes: |
There is a fresh deer kill/clean site maybe 0.2 miles off the Quarry trail about half way between top and bottom. My dogs took off (which is totally out of character for them) and I found them living their best lives, rolling in and eating a pile of fresh, bloody deer guts. Just an FYI in case your dog may also enjoy this experience. |

 | Lost and Found: |
Just the unclaimed deer pile, but from the noise the ravens and crows were making, I think it might actually belong to them. |

A brisk day for a hike, with clear views to the Sandwich range. Crusty snow and dry trail, bare bootable. Aside from the canine escapades, a lovely day for this little loop. |
