Comments
Comments: We were first on trail 11/17 didn’t see any others until about 3mi left in the hike! Conditions were ok, lots of struggling, didn’t use spikes but carried them the entire way. Was cold in the morning so it was crunchy snow down low, about 4-6in, which turned to be soft and slushy on way back. Snow up high was covering rocks but not enough for snowshoes(they’d get beat up). Snow up high was soft, blowing with strong gusts, but no major drifting yet.

Road will probably be closed within the week
