4-wheel drive definately needed to get to the trailhead. Several inches of unplowed snow in the parking lot. |

| Comments: |
On the start of this trail there were 4-5 inches of snow. It got deeper
before the Caps.
Above tree-line there was knee deep to thigh deep snow. Slow going today.
Traction wouldn't have helped with all the exposed rocks. It would have been more of a nuisance putting snowshoes off and on all day.
We could see where the snow was melting in the sun on our return. |
