Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Second to last people to get a hike in from Tripoli this year. Talked to the ranger in the parking lot prior to our hike who said they’d be closing the road today. Gate is fully locked from WV side (right before trailhead). Gate from exit 31 side was still open when we left, but a couple miles in, the road was half closed with a “Road Closed” sign.
