Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Coop had a great hike. Trail is pretty easy for dogs, one of the easier, beginner type of trails. Water was flowing at the first water crossing, but not much else along the remainder of the trail (one small spot, but not much to quench a doggos thirst). Depending on your dog, you may want them on a lease on the ledges beyond the peak.

Comments
Comments: Quick hike on way south. Gentle slope all the way to the summit. Saw a couple of others on the trail, as well. Best views are beyond the summit down to some ledges with views of the lakes region to the south. There is a log new log book inside a wooden box (instead of a canister) attached to a tree. It was quite nice, thanks to the person who put this in place. We were only the third to sign.
