After storm passed Sunday, was expecting sloppy wet conditions..our expectations were not met...rocks were DRY..ground firmed up...trace to heavy dusting of snow around 3000'....some patches of ice near water crossings avoidable...the last .9 mi to summit had the most ice but still barebooted....blustery on the summit...low level clouds limited views but we weren't socked in....all in all a great day to be on trail... |
