Comments
Comments: Quick later afternoon local hike. After parking, I walked slightly north on Lewis Hill Road to the logged area. I followed the logged road east for about 1/3 mile where we found a trail on the left. followed this somewhat meandering trail, tagged with pink or orange tags, to the summit. The trail continued beyond the summit (marked w/orange/black tags), and to the ledge with fantastic views of Cannon, Franconia Ridge, Garfield, Twins and around to the Presidentials. Eventually, this trail exited the forest at the south east corner of a fenced field. Walked along the fence to the road, and back north Lewis Hill Rd to the car. Whole loop was about 2 miles & took about an hour.
