Comments
Comments: Needed this peak for the TR72, since is was bagged previously with several other peaks. The true summit is about 100 yds east of the CMT. There is an obvious herd path at the height of the trail, but it becomes harder to follow after a short distance. The herd path does go all the way to the true summit, which is immediately north of a boulder. Great views in almost every direction were obtained from on top of the boulder.

The trails to the CMT were mostly dry, except for the usual sections that are basically in a stream. Some smaller spots of ice on top of the puddles in the trail, which could be avoided. Couple of bog log bridges on CMT have seen better days, but newer planked ones were in great shape, except one is broken. Leaves down lower were occasionally deceptively deep and slippery slowing progress on the descent.
