Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Bridge on OMR, Step overs on Square Ledge trail.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in great shape, most are not blazed but easy to follow. Only remember 1 duck-under on WRT, couple of minor blowdowns.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Cooper and Piper had a grand time. Trails were easy for them. We were concerned about the steeper section ascending Square Ledge, but this was not an issue at all. Both pups bounded up the trail. AllTrails description shows over 100% grade, but I doubt this is the case, seemed easier than many other ledges we have climbed.

Comments
Comments: Splendid day to tackle more delisted 52WAV peaks. Winds were stronger up high, but just a little breezy down lower. We took a counter clockwise direction on these trails.

The climb up to Square Ledge was quite enjoyable. The intimidating cliffs/ledges are visible on approach through the trees, but the trail itself passes between large boulders/cliffs and remains in the trees. It is steep, but not long, with only one scramble with lots of footing options; pups had no problem. Despite being delisted, there are still a couple of locations for views in multiple directions. Enjoyed time at the 'summit' ledge with views towards Potash and Hedgehog.

The remainder of the SLT has ups and downs; which includes, as noted by others, a long ascent. We did get some interesting views of Mt Washington and Presies now that the leaves down. This was followed by descent on WT which was quite steep, all with no peaks to show for the effort.

Views from Hibbard summit are minimal, however there is a look out just beyond the summit that offered some views to the south. Slippery dry leaves covering roots and rocks at lower elevations slowed the pace a bit especially descending on WRT.
