| Comments: |
It was unseasonably warm which felt odd but this is a beautiful hike. The trail ascends gradually over 3 miles, the views from both the southern end of the ridge and the observation tower are incredible! There was some mud and wet rock but both were easily negotiable. There were still a lot of leaves but they were getting munched up and shifted aside. Sawyer Road will close soon, get it while you can! |
