 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Tripoli Road from the North was in real good shape. I arrived at the trailhead lot at 7:00 and it was full. I managed to get a parallel side spot just inside the lot. Vehicles up and down the road when I left at noon. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Not an issue |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One step-over. The trail was its usual boney self, with the same ugly side slope slabs near the top. Other than that, it was ok. |

I knew it would be crowded today, but I passed everything from solos to groups of up to eight about every 10 minutes on my descent. And everyone had a dog except me. I was hoping that I wouldn't run into a Ranger and be fined for not having one. Summit was socked in when I got up there, but seemed to be clearing on my descent. On the way home via the Kanc, all the lots where filled with vehicles lined up and down the road. More than I've seen even on a summer weekend day. But, I had the chance with so many out today to have some nice chats.
