Comments
Comments: Bright sunny day for this out and back with good views all around. Winds were not existent at lower els, in the trees and in some of the cols but very apparent on the peaks and their slopes. All in all much better than I expected. Late morning and afternoon sun lent welcome warmth so the strong, cold winds on the slopes and peaks were relatively short lived and no winds were too uncomfortable even apparently to the trail running traverser in running shorts and thin layers. Very stiff and cold 30-35 mph wind in the late afternoon coming down Airline though. Trails were in pretty good shape overall. Mud and water in some patches all avoidable. Leaf covered trail on Airline was a little challenging. Traversers, partial traversers out and backers all bagging peaks today.
