I took a break from my desk and walked up Piper Mtn. this afternoon. I think this is the nicest peak in the Belknap Range. Lots of ledgy goodness and fine views. Trails were totally dry and basically, anywhere there wasn't a ledge there were slippery leaves, so use caution when descending. Nice to run into Bryan out there at the end of our respective hikes. |
