Parked one car off Pinkham B road at the lot across from Pine Mountain Horton Center Road. Pinkham road was intermittently paved and dirt and in areas was rough but no problem with a Subaru.
Second vehicle parked off the gravel Promenade Street where Pine Mountain trailhead sign is located on the left with gravel pit on the right. |

We had two cars so we spotted a car off Pinkham B road and started the hike on Pine Mountain Trail off Promenade Street in Gorham and headed south. Trail was poorly blazed and had a lot of leaves on it but was easily followed. Some of the leaves were wet causing some slippery conditions. Fantastic views from spur path to Chapel Rock and other short spur trails to the ledges. Descended the rather steep Ledges trail to the Pine Mountain Horton Center Road which had been gated to our spotted car off Pinkham B road.
Saw maybe half dozen other hikers and one other dog enjoying the beautiful warm day.
