Water crossings all easy to rock-hop but water no longer at lowest level of this past summer. |

A couple of big blowdowns have been recently cut. 2 low trees to get over, 1 biggun to go under - this one might come down soon. |

no bug issues. Lots of pretty spiderwebs. |

found and packed out - micro trash (wrappers), some tissues/wipes (yuck), throwaway flosser (what is the deal with those things on trails - multitasking??) |

2 very assertive grey jays on Field were in a nfltg mood and fully prepared to steal food from bags :).
No more leaves/color but gorgeous, cloudless, windless day with great views, even peeks where there really aren't any views.
Trails all in vg shape, a few areas with heavy leaf litter. "Dry mud" in a few spots, a bit wet at the bottom of avalon closest to the stream.
