Comments
Comments: Stunning day! Glen Boulder is in great shape, lots of leaves down low hiding rocks. Minor ice above Glen Boulder, no issues avoiding. Fantastic views from Slide Peak. Lots of braiding heading to junction. Just past the Wilderness sign in trees flowing water, ice in several spots. Plenty of chances to refill water. Mud in the usual spots. Really bad between ISO East & Spur. Deep mud standing water, desperately need bog bridges through here. Several leaners on Davis, no issues until snow. Only 4 on top, then solo for an hour! Sunny mid 50’s no wind, incredible weather & views! Grey Jays being a PIA. Climb to Boot not bad, 1st time here. So beautiful. Rugged climb down. Some mud, running water. Confusing spot at 2nd outlook sign. Trail looks to go right go left. Right is 2 dead ends. 1st time on Direitissma, several blow downs no issue. 1/3 mile before lot met lady “how much further to falls” After 5 getting dark, turned her around & pointed out sign post. Fantastic day was had!
