The morning was bright blue skys but high overcast rolled in by the time I summited. Still good views. Trace snow at low elevations to 1-2 inches in places up high. Not that that will mean much after tonight's snow storm. This will likely be my last hike in trail runners. Back to boots I think. Some of the steep sections were slick with the snow so I put on my microspikes which helped alot. Nice day to be out. |
