 | Comments: |
A brisk cloudless day with little or no wind. There was still some color in the trees. Big temperature change during the course of the day. Saw a little bit of ice on the WRT. On the way over to Mt. Willey I stopped on the Mt. Field summit to start my lunch. On the hike back to Mt. Field my attempt to finish my lunch there was interrupted by a jay who was indignant that I had no intention of feeding it. The bird landed a foot away from where I was sitting and then hopped on to one of my boots before moving to other points close by. It finally left me alone when others arrived on the summit. |
