The two major crossings are roaring, but passable with care. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Large blowdown just as the Rattle River Trail steepens. Have to entangle yourself and push through it. |

Bugs come out when it warms due to all the water on the trail. |

Lost my hotel key card. Had to replace it when I got back. |

Incredible hike. Rattle River Trail is a beautiful stretch of the AT. Kenduskeag feels remote and offers tremendous views of Moriah, Carters, Mahoosucs, Wild River Wilderness and Northern Prezis. The peak is breathtaking. |
