Comments
Comments: This had been on my redo list for a while; hadn't been here since I did a winter trip to the Kinsmans in 2015.

These trails were mainly dry, but there was also a fair amount of mud around, particularly at the start of Bald Peak Spur. Great views from Bald Peak and it would be a super sunset spot. Chilly today with the wind but not too bad.

On the way back I did the short side trip to Kinsman Flume. Really neat spot but watch your footing close to the edge of the flume. It would be a nasty drop and difficult extraction if one were to fall down in there.

Foliage color is disappearing fast here and is being replaced by stick season. Lots of bare trees and heavy leaf cover on the ground.
