No issues I could see, other than that one spot with the slab of ledge that is fairly high but there is a by-pass, just might need to lift some dogs up onto it. |

Other than the wet, wet, and more wet surfaces the Skook was a great choice after all that rain. Brooks were running fast, lots of white water, but all crossings were easy. Beautiful day to get up above tree-line. Fourth time on this trail, and first time we've ever encountered other hikers on it! From the trail bed condition I think it has been discovered and is getting more use. There were some erosion spots as mentioned above that are a couple of feet deep, I hope this trail doesn't end up like the old Iron Mtn trail. |
