 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
first off, there is no sign for Dame Hill Rd, but you'll figure it out. The kiosk (not signed and falling down) & parking area feel abandoned, but probably 5 cars can park there. Just "don't block the fire road", which gave me a chuckle because the road goes no where to nothing. At the TH on Indian Pond Rd, there is no parking, but there is a sign that says to park on the side of road at the corner of RT25A and the 'unsigned' Dame Hill Rd. There was a car parked there when we arrived. |

didn't see any, but fine terrain. no water. This trail is entirely on private property, so if you bring them, maybe keep them leashed and definitely pick up after them. |

So, there aren't really any views to speak of, but this was a really nice 2nd hike of the day. Only saw one couple during the entire hike. Trail is switchbacked and the woods are open and pretty. Blue blazed the whole way, maybe a little more than necessary. On Norris Rd, it's only roadside parking, but not enough to get your car completely off the road. |
