 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking is fine with a lot across from the small trail lot too. The small lot was full at 9:30 AM but plenty access across if needed. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Leaves - Significant/Slippery |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
There is two Brook crossings. Although the span is small, what was rushing from recent heavy rain and the Brook was swollen so be careful. Rock hopping at one crossing would have been slightly dangerous but move up or down thirty feet from the crossing and you should have no issues. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Signs are scarce and the trail is covered in leaves. Any rock blazes are covered too. There is a few places you must be careful to stay with the trail but not that bad. Just know there are also many switchbacks closer to summit and you will stay on course. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Dog friendly and I saw two! |
|
 | Bugs: |
Minor and no bites. |

 | Comments: |
Be careful of slippery leaves, obscured trail, and small but swollen, rushing Brook crossings. But really very doable. Beautiful hike. Only saw a few others. I had the summit to myself for twenty minutes or more. Great views of Ike all the way to Washington! Great views of so much more too! |
