Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking is on the side of a dirt road (that is not maintained in the winter). We were the only car.

Trail Maintenance Notes: There were a few downed trees but we could get over, under them. The hardest thing about this mountain is climbing up onto the final summit boulder.

Comments: This is a pleasant hike with gradual grades throughout. We checked out the Unknown Pond tent site and were happy to find an outhouse. We encountered a dusting of snow at higher elevations but no ice or frozen ground yet.
