| Comments: |
Livermore Road was dry and covered in new leaves.
Mt. Tripyramid Trail up the North Slide was generally dry with some leaves. Above maybe 3,600 feet, there was a dusting of snow (falling this morning).
A dusting of snow in places on North and Middle, but not below South. Some wet rock on the South Slide from fog, etc. Dry below the morning cloud line. Traverse was also fairly dry with some leaves.
Quite a few people camping along Livermore and even on top of North Tripyramid. Loop itself wasn't too busy.
Beautiful morning in the valley with peak foliage. Preview of shoulder season on the summits with the fog and light snow (never enough to even think about traction). Leaves are dropping, so the foliage will be past peak very soon. |
