Trails were generally dry, but there were some areas of wet trail and minor mud from the rain a couple of days ago.
Ski trail mowing continues, but it would be a good idea to avoid the ski trails for awhile longer, as they are now getting ready to install the haul rope up the middle of the mountain. Lots of construction throughout, including on weekends.
Beautiful fall day with temperatures in the 40s and 50s, gusty wind, and mostly sunny skies.
Foliage progressing nicely. High elevation birch is going gold/brown/dropping. Fall tint visible down low and may peak at once (rather than early and late waves). |
