Trails were mostly dry.
Ski trails not a viable route, as there is major construction in progress, even on the weekend. Lots of heavily equipment and excavation in the base area and at the top of the main mountain. Trail mowing in progress, but most still unmowed with tall grass and weeds.
Beautiful late summer weather sunny skies and temperatures reaching the 60s. Foliage is still mostly green, but colors are starting to show a bit down low. The birch up high continues to go gold/brown and leaves are starting to drop. |
