Comments: Flags on the 48! About 17 in our group including young White Mountain Royalty Littlefoot! Great up to Surprise, dry trail all the way. Then the fun starts, slabs are freaking steep! Never ending, then they get steeper. Wow calfs were on fire but so fun. Levels out for a bit then wet slabs & trail til the top. No wind again today, Prezis were clear early then in clouds. Hazy day, no sun but very humid. Raised flag ???????? At 12. Lots of people on a small summit. Awesome site! Several thru hikers treated to trail magic, both food & drink! Could see flag on South Carter with monocular. Great event with a great group of people! FOT 48 beer in lot when done, long day but can’t wait for next year!
