Comments
Comments: Just about perfect weather to be above tree line. There were some ominous looking clouds closing in on Adams but the lack of wind kept away. The upper half of Valley Way has running water throughout, making the decent a slow slog. It’s amazing the difference from a month ago when there was barely a drop on this trail. Saw lot’s of people heading down from hut in morning. Despite the full lot it fairly quiet on Valley Way and the hut was not overflowing with people. Some weird gnats on the summit but with a little wind they wouldn’t have been a nuisance. The knees are tired after this one.
