Comments
Comments: The hike up to Mt Hight is SO WORTH IT! By far the best views in the Carter traverse can be seen here. We hiked out from Carter-Moriah Trail from Carter Notch Hut and then came back down Carter Dome Trail then Nineteen Mile Brook Trail. The descent off Mt Hight was steep. The summit of South Carter is pretty easy to miss. It is a small chair-shaped cairn. The summit of Middle Carter is also an unremarkable cairn next to a wooden trail.
