Dry River trail recently had some work done on it. Thanks Bill! We were glad not to have to fight our way through the tree section that he cut back. It does have other areas that are somewhat overgrown bit nothing crazy. There is some boot sucking mud beyond the shelter. Also, after the shelter, we got off trail briefly a couple times but were able to fin our way back pretty quickly. Mt. Eisenhower trail was lovely and easy, clear, and very gentle in most of it. Dry River Cutoff has lots of bootsucking mud and could benefit from some bog bridges. Also lots of blowdowns on this trail. |
