Excellent placement of signs and blazes keep you on the straight and narrow (just an expression, because these trails are old roads that are NOT narrow). Thank you! |

Thanks to Rocket21 for frequently posting this! Less than 90 minutes from home and great for avoiding aggravating my abdominal issues. Very easy foot path as well.
As mentioned in Rocket21's report, there will be logging in some areas. Please check before you go.
Pretty open areas full of late summer flowers attract many butterflies and are pleasing to look at in their own right. North loop is wooded, there is on open area along the trail with lovely views. The best views are from the South Peak, where there is a picnic table and a trail log. The log is just about full, a new one is needed.
