First time up Glen Boulder for me...nice trail but a good workout too. Found a hooch near the spring with a tent site and a fire pit...on the uphill side not far off the trail. I really like the DAvis Path but in hindsight I should have cut over to Crawford Path to get to the summit. Tuck was packed with hundreds of hikers; and while Crawford can be busy I find it a much more pleasant way to the top. Lots of tourist on top as you might expect on a Saturday.
That spring near the Hermit Lake Shelters was a special treat...cold and taste like the mountains! |
