Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Lot was half full around 8ish. Cars made it in, but there's a large puddle to contend with on the access road.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: Rock hoppable. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Chainsaw sized birch on the lower Liberty Trail. Failed waterbar a few tenths in as well, with a deep channel forming down the trail in its wake. Lots of unmitigated erosion elsewhere on the two trails.

Bugs
Bugs: Occasional deer fly and mosquito (Paugus Mill trailhead is a mosquito nightmare in season), but minimal.

Comments
Comments: Trails were damp this morning with fog/clouds passing through. Areas of minor mud and water running down the trail. Brook Trail ledges were wet and slippery. Liberty ledges were drier/more grippy.

Summit was busy, but saw no one on the Brook Trail, and Liberty wasn't too bad either. Foliage still generally green, but some red hobblebush. Also noted some yellows in the Piper Trail valley below. Nice partly sunny day as the fog parted with temperatures hitting the low 70s.
