Upper crossing was a bit higher than expected due to rain prior evening |

Fine, the bypass along the east bank to skip the crossing was n fine shape. Someone has put a blaze and cairn at the Hale Firewardens turn off. |

Red bandanna with white dots on bypass route. I hung it on branch in the AM and it was gone on the PM |

Plenty of folks out and about. met a few folks at the outlook who had long ago thru hiked the AT. |
